His Majesty gets more new Hijri year greetings

MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received more greetings on the occasion of the New Hijri Year.

His Majesty has received messages from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president of the UAE, prime minister and ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the UAE Supreme Council and ruler of Fujairah; Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, crown prince of Qatar; Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE; Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasmi, crown prince and deputy ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, prime minister of Bahrain, and Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al Thani, prime minister and foreign minister of Qatar.

His Majesty the Sultan has also received greetings cables from the members of the royal family, chairman of the State Council, chairman of Majlis Al Shura, ministers, advisers, members of the State Council and Majlis Al Shura; undersecretaries, the Sultanate's ambassadors abroad; ambassadors of the Arab and Islamic countries accredited to the Sultanate, senior officials in the Arab and Islamic countries, sheikhs, dignitaries and citizens.

The well-wishers expressed their greetings to His Majesty the Sultan on the New Year, wishing him happiness, good health and long life, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity. His Majesty the Sultan replied by thanking them for their kind gesture and noble feelings, wishing them all good health and happiness and the Muslim nation all success.
