His Majesty confers Orders of Merit, Civil Service

MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has conferred the Order of Merit (First Class) on Dr Issam bin Ali Al Rowas, chairman of the Omani History Society; Eng. Habib bin Abdulnabi Macki, vice-chairman of the Oman Olympic Committee, and Dr Anrico Drico, an archaeological buildings renovation expert at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.

His Majesty also conferred Appreciation Order for Civil Service (Second Class) on Hilal bin Mohammed Al A’mri, director-general of arts and literature at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture; Ali bin Mahboub bin Hassan, director-general of Census and Rapporture of the Supreme National Committee for Census, in recognition of their outstanding role in the blessed Renaissance.

The orders were delivered on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan by Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud bin Ali Al Busaidi, minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, when he received them in his office here yesterday.
