Summit agenda reviewed

MUSCAT — The High Committee for Conferences, which met here yesterday under the chairmanship of His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, deputy prime minister for the Council of Ministers, reviewed the topics listed on the agenda of the 29th AGCC Summit to be hosted by the Sultanate on December 29 and 30.

In response to the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on boosting the AGCC march to realise the aspirations of its peoples, the High Committee for Conferences discussed a number of topics proposed for the summit, as well as those prepared by the specialised ministerial committee.

The committee also reviewed the opinions of the Consultative Authority on a number of issues which will be submitted to the summit.

The committee came out with a number of conclusions on several issues in line with the Sultanate’s stances and aimed at cementing the bonds among the AGCC member states.
