Moosa, Belgian minister discuss health issues

MUSCAT — Dr Ali bin Mohammed bin Moosa, minister of health, received in his office here yesterday Karel de Gucht, Belgian foreign minister, and the delegation accompanying him, currently visiting the Sultanate.

During the meeting, cordial conversations and matters of common interest were exchanged besides discussing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, particularly health matters that serve the interest of the two sides.

Meanwhile, Karel de Gucht and his delegation visited Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the wilayat of Bausher.

During the visit, the guest was briefed on the stages of the construction of the mosque and the materials used.

He was also briefed on the mosque’s distinguished Omani and Islamic architecture.

The guest familiarised himself with the mosque’s role in propagating the message of Islam and the mosque’s sections, including Islamic library, lecture hall among other services.
