HM orders special flight to bring home Omanis stranded in Thailand

MUSCAT — As ordered by His Majesty the Sultan, Oman Air will send a special flight today to Bangkok to bring back the Omani passengers stranded there.

His Majesty has ordered this to make sure all Omani citizens return home before Eid holidays, said Peter Hill, CEO of Oman Air, yesterday.

The Oman Air flight will bring home today some 160 passengers from Bangkok Airport.

“We will also operate a special flight from Bangkok tomorrow in coordination with the Sultanate’s embassy in Thailand,” Hill said.

Oman Air had brought stranded Omani passengers from Thailand on November 29 and 30.
