HM, leaders of Arab, Islamic nations exchange Hijri greetings

MUSCAT — On the occasion of the new Hijri year 1430 and the anniversary of the Prophet’s (pbuh) Hijra, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said exchanged greetings with the leaders of Arab and Islamic nations.

His Majesty the Sultan expressed his greetings and best wishes to them, praying to Allah the Almighty to return this happy occasion on them with prosperity and make the new year, a year of peace, security and welfare for their people.

In their cables, the leaders of the countries expressed their greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty for his welfare and further progress to the Omani people.

His Majesty the Sultan has exchanged greetings messages with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE);
