AGCC Majlis chiefs arrive for meeting today

MUSCAT — Chairmen of the AGCC Shura, Representatives, National and Ummah Councils arrived here yesterday to take part in the second meeting of the AGCC Councils, due to commence its deliberations at Al Bustan Palace Hotel today.

The dignitaries were Dr Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, chairman of the Majlis Al Shura in Saudi Arabia; Jasim bin Mohammed Al Khurafi, chairman of the Kuwaiti Ummah Council; Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, chairman of the Majlis Al Shura in Qatar and Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, chairman of the Federal Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, speaker of the Council of Representatives in Bahrain. They were received on arrival by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Isa’ee, chairman of the Majlis Al Shura; the deputy chairmen of the Majlis Al Shura, many Majlis members, the Majlis secretary-general and the AGCC ambassadors to the Sultanate.
